I have used this site for about 6 years. As a woman in her early 50s, it was a tremendous way to meet men after my marriage ended. I actually use this site and a relationship site but found the men that I met on AMM to be upfront and less invested in cliches. The majority of the men I've met have had fairly honest profiles. I've culled well and generally the guys I choose have fit well for me in terms of being considerate and respectful. There are more men than women on this site which has been of great assistance as well. Yes, you do have to shrug off the disinterested parties and take it all with a grain of salt. Summing up, a well designed site and great fun as an outcome.
